Kyrstie Mann -Managing Director
“After 12+ years of teaching and 5+ years of management within specialist education, I love working with the students and am so happy to be able to bring this provision to life. As much as I love teaching, I now concentrate on the quality of provision as a whole, student experience and working to bring as much as possible to our setting. I want to enable our students to become as confident and independent as they can be”.

Kyrstie is PGCE qualified, holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business & Management, a Level 3 Assessors Award and Level 4 Quality Assurance qualification and has over 15 years experience in education. She is responsible for Curriculum development, Quality of Teaching, Learning & Assessment, Business Development and more. In addition she also possesses a Level 5 SEND Diploma but still learns something new from the students every day.
Vikki Edge – Operations Manager & Deputy Safeguarding Lead
“After working for a local college for over 10 years, and within SEND for over 15 years and am all about the students. I will help and support them to do anything they want to do. I don’t see any reason why everyone can’t try something new and am glad to be here to offer this. I teach lots of PSHE modules as well as Vocational and Independent Living which is crucial for Preparing for Adulthood”.
Vikki Edge, 2021
Vikki has a large breadth of experience to share with our students and due to the amount of time within this field is considered a SEND specialist. In addition to this, she is a qualified hairdresser and nail technician, she has also worked in supported living environments, young people’s housing, drug and alcohol abuse and early mothers accommodation. Vikki holds a Level 5 Diploma in Teaching & Education and is Level 5 qualified learning support practitioner. Vikki is our Deputy Safeguarding Lead and First Aider. She has also completed training in Epilepsy, Diabetes, Visual impairments, after working with Exeter School for the Blind, Safeguarding and Prevent and is our Mental Health First Aider.
Karen Marie Zabel – Head of English, Maths and Bespoke learning
Karen-Marie joins us from September 2024 as our English & Maths expert. She comes with a wide wealth of teaching knowledge and experience amounting to over 15 years and due to this is considered a SEND specialist.
Karen-Marie is positively passionate about her subject and loves to teach English & Maths in a way that our young people actually enjoy (I know, who would thinkit could be fun?!) She also brings her skills in bespoke packages having worked for a specialist college prior to joining our team this year.
Mike Clarke – Work Experience & Community Projects Co-Ordinator
Mike is joining us to build on our amazing relationships we currently have with employers as well as creating some new connections.
In addition to his role with Learn 2 Cornwall, Mike has his own business, Empowered People Thrive, where he offers training and coaching. He is also a Director of Support, Empower, Transform (SET) which is a support group for senior managers who just want to be themselves rather than constantly network. He is also an Apprenticeship assessor for other training providers.
Mike is a qualified teacher and is very much looking forward to getting stuck back into education but this time with different students. Mike can also be seen supporting our students too in order to ensure he sees first hand what they can achieve.
Joining L2C, Mike is so excited to see what changes can be made to encourage our learners to be the best they can be.

Adrian Murley – LSP & Trainee Tutor
Adrian is an avid football fan and currently plays for St Buryan AFC as their goalkeeper. He also coaches football to children.
Leah Crompton – LSP & Designated Safeguarding Lead
Leah is also a parent volunteer with the Autistic Society Cornwall and also runs a monthly support group for parents with autistic children which she thoroughly enjoys.
Shelley Bateman – LSP
Shelley is a paramedic and mental health specialist who joined us last year.
Shelley is an active person enjoying many sports in order to maintain her general fitness.
Pam Rozentals – LSP
Pam was Course Lead for Foundation Studies at a local college. In her spare time Pam is an antiques dealer and can often be seen at local antiques fayres.
Maddison Broome – LSP & Admin
Maddi works with a young boy with autism as his PA for 5 years. Maddi also has a stationery obsession & loves art. She wants to have her own kiln one day.
Rob Bradley – LSP
Rob joins us after working in Community Care. He is also a sports coach and loves to teach our young people some new skills.
Bronwen Clayton-Clayton – LSP
Bronwen has a background in care having worked at a national LD care home and is now excited to work within education. She is also a huge garden enthusiast and can’t wait to ger her hands on our polytunnels!
Claire Banner – LSP
Claire has previous experience within the care industry and will be joining us this September.
She has her own horses and absolutely adores them.
Jodie James – LSP
Jodie joins us from a Penzance care and support team with adults with LD. She can’t wait to get to know our students.
Jodie enjoys the gym and spending time with her family.
Karen Morrison – Admin (compliance)
Karen has extensive experience within the adminstrative field and cannot wait to get stuck into our processes and systems to make sure we are compliant at all times.
Karin Harris – LSP & Admin
Karin has admin experience with the NHS to share with us.
Karin is starting out in support in education work and so far is loving it.
Kath Elkin – LSP
Kath joins us from a large college environment where she has supported many learners.
She is excited to come and work with us and get stuck into helping the students thrive.
Sarah Roach-Corin – LSP
Sarah is joining us from a care background with elderly people with dementia. She also worked in a national LD care home alongside Bronwen.
She has a small, young family who takes up all of her spare time but enjoys every second.
Tracy Kessell – LSP
Tracy joins us from a Penzance care and support team with adults with LD just like Jodie. She can’t wait to put her experience of accessing the community into practice.
Tracy has a young family and enjoys keeping physically fit.
